Dr Yasemin Allsop MBE
Yasemin Allsop worked as a primary school teacher and computing lead for 10 years. Since April 2014, she has been working in higher education. She loves reading, writing, walking and swimming. She enjoys being in nature and spending time with her beautiful girl, Shadow. She is the author of Alya the Pathmaker book series and Give the Colours back to the Earth children’s picture book.
Prof Filiz Kalelioglu
Filiz Kalelioglu is a Professor in the Faculty of Education at Baskent University, Türkiye, specializing in Educational Technology. She holds a Ph.D., M.S., and B.S. in Educational Technology and has extensive experience in e-learning, instructional design, technology integration, and computer science education. Dr. Kalelioglu has published numerous articles and book chapters at both national and international levels and serves as a reviewer for several prominent journals in the field of educational technology.
Melike Aslan Unlu
Melike is a PhD candidate at UCL’s Institute of Education, on a mission to bring computational thinking into early childhood classrooms. With an MA in Early Childhood Education from the University of Sheffield, she’s explored how digital coding tools can spark curiosity in young minds. Before diving into academia, she was an early years teacher in Türkiye, building the foundation for her love of learning and teaching. Known for her dedication to education and her curiosity about creative teaching tools, Melike envisions a future where little hands reach their potential through hands-on activities in safe, peaceful environments. When she’s not deep in academic articles, you’ll find her leafing through children’s books in libraries or bookstores.
